Dark Ascension is an idle/incremental RPG set in a dark fantasy world. You play as a mage harnessing mana to ascend through 12 stages of power. It features upgrades, spells, minions, artifacts, prestige systems, challenges, automation, and more — all with no ads and no data collection.

Dark Ascension is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) via the App Store and on Windows as a downloadable installer (.exe). Steam support is coming soon.

Dark Ascension is free on iOS with no paywalls, no premium currencies, and no ads. The Windows version is a free download. The full game is playable without spending anything.

No. The app operates entirely offline with zero network requests. No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs. All save data stays on your device. Read our full privacy policy for details.

When you close the app and come back, the game calculates your mana and resource production for the time you were away (up to 8 hours by default, extendable with upgrades). You'll see a summary of what you earned.

Yes. The Settings tab includes save export and import options. Export your save as a text string, then import it on another device to pick up where you left off.
